Easy Healthy Breakfast
If you need something on-the-go, savory, and healthy, I have just the breakfast for you! I'm going to keep it simple because I know you are probably running off to work or the gym or you don't want to miss your morning TV show.
- Beefsteak tomato (huge tomato)
- Sliced turkey
- fresh Basil
- Avocado
- Balsamic glaze
As the base, cut off a slice of tomato, not too thin as this will be foundational. Plate it.
Top with four or five slices of turkey (I just buy the packaged lunch meat), slices of avocado make it decadent, some fresh basil, and then run a bit of balsamic glaze on top! I just buy premade balsamic and keep in my fridge, it's a tiny bottle so doesn't take up too much space. You can also make your own by boiling balsamic vinegar with sugar until it gets syrupy, then cool.
